About Us

My name is Elvia Maria Prescott, most know as Maria. My first name gets changed a lot, so to make everyone’s life easier I just go by Maria.

I am originally from Costa Rica and I move to Aberdeen, SD in 2013 when my son JC was only 10 months old. “Funny” history, I was born and raised 20 minutes from the capital in Costa Rica at age of 18 I decided to move to the pacific side because my hometown was too cold (65°) now I live in the coldest place on earth (-35°).

My passion for cleaning started since I had use of reason. At only 7 years old, everyone asked me what I want to be when I grow up and I always said “A House Maid”. I remember my mom waking my sister and I up when we were in middle school every Saturday at 7am, using a pot and wooden spoons like drums to clean the house haha now I laugh but at the time all I wanted was cry. That’s how my mother train us to become the successful women we are now. The military training is nothing compare with my mother’s. Haha!

In Aberdeen I got to meet this awesome couple Lynnette was a private cleaner, her husband got a promotion in FL and she asked me to take over her clients. I wasn’t sure of what I was getting in to it. I never thought by taking over her clients was going to make me grow in to the business I have now.

Cleaning is my passion and I enjoy so much what I do, I love to see my clients reactions when they come to a fresh cleaning home, I love to provide my clients with extra time to spend it with their love ones or even working on their goals. I love that we are able to put a smile on people’s faces.

Throughout my journey, I continue to grow and refine mine and my team’s cleaning techniques, all while using top quality products. My goal is to keep delivering efficient cleaning solutions that cater specifically for you.

Home Clean Home is a Commercial and residential cleaning company that brings a clean environment to our costumers. We give our clients their precious time back by taking care of their cleaning needs. Working most commonly on weekly or biweekly schedule, Home Clean Home gives busy individuals, families and companies a clean, comfortable space.
